I am pleased to invite you to the Local Foods Impact Conference to take place April 3-4, 2017 in Washington DC.
In partnership with the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service, the George Washington University Sustainability Collaborative has planned an action-packed two days. From plenaries with impressive keynoters, to roll-up-your sleeves workshops, we will come together to identify the kinds of metrics and data that will help the new Administration, Congress, and local food leaders better understand and evaluate the impacts of USDA local food investments.
And it won’t all be work. Over cocktails and Local Food System Tours (not at the same time!) we will exchange stories about what’s going on in communities across the country. Before our time together ends, we will make new friends, and envision a pathway forward that continues to build on our success.
