CSA Fall 2016 Update

Written by Kayla Williams ’17, GW Sustainability Collaborative Student Fellow

Our CSA partnership with Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative went off with a bang.

We had over 90 shares ordered, over 85 participants including faculty, staff, and students and over $12,500 contributing towards our regional food system!

The success is due in large part due to GWorld authorizing the GroW Garden as a registered dining vendor for students to use their GWorld money to purchase their CSA share. We will be holding another CSA during the spring semester so keep an eye out for more information if you missed this semesters’ program.
