Our CSA partnership with Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative went off with a bang. We had over 90 shares ordered, over 85 participants including faculty, staff, and students and over $12,500 contributing towards our regional food system!

Spooky Beasts and Farm Feasts: GroW Pop-Up Dinner. The GroW Community will be hosting its second annual Pop-Up Dinner, cooked entirely by GroW Community members! Participants will be served a full meal in the garden.
As the world continues to urbanize, it’s vital that we figure out strategies to ensure that American agriculture stays relevant to city folk. More than 71 percent of Americans live in urban areas with populations exceeding 50,000 people, according to the 2010 U.S. Census. Globally in 2014, 54 percent of the world’s population lived in cities, up from 34 percent in 1960 according to the World Health Organization.
The Sustainability Collaborative will be fielding questions from our audience using Pigeonhole Live, an interactive Q and A platform, at this Friday’s symposium on Urban Agriculture. Pigeonhole can be accessed through smartphones, tablets, or laptops, and will allow event attendees as well as livestream viewers to submit questions to our panelists throughout the conference
